It provides excellent protection to packed products, acting as a barrier towards gas, oxygen and moisture, in order to guarantee the integrity of packed products.
Because of its surface treatment* and additivity, it is easy to be used processes such as: printing, lamination, sealing capability, sliding and performance in packing machinery.
BOPP films are extremely versatile and efficient when applied to several types of packing, mainly in contact with foods, and therefore it has to be produced under stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards addressing human health.

* There are two types of surface treatment:
Corona Treatment, where an electric shock is applied on the film surface modifying its characteristics and providing printing or laminating capabilities;
Flame Treatment, or gas treatment that also modifies the BOPP film surface making it totally suitable for printing, coating (with adhesives) lamination and metallization applications.
